Spiders Tot School

We are looking forward to Halloween, so planned a fun week of spider activities for Tot School!



 

 

After H enjoyed the lacing card so much last week, I decided to make another! I got the printable from 3Dinosaurs! The spider color flip book was also a hit! Found that printable from Make Learning Fun!

 We played spider letter swat! Each spider had a letter on it, and I would call out the letter, and he would swat it!

 We used those letters again in our giant spider web! He had to walk on the lines and collect the letters!

 

 Working on counting and 1:1 correspondence!

This was his first time with watercolors (I don't know why we haven't done this sooner!)! I drew a spider web with white crayon and then he painted over it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! We printed out the animals from the story and as we read, he stuck them into a Styrofoam block!

Is my child the only one who loves to climb into the laundry baskets? Well we made it into a giant spider web and he had a blast!

Cut out the center of a paper plate, add contact paper and yarn = spider web!
