He has become obsessed with the book, "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" so we used that for our theme this week in Tot School!
He is currently 20 months old!
Our first activity was tape resistant painting of a forest! So EASY! I just taped some tree shapes on his paper, and he painted over it! When it was dry, we peeled the paint off and he had created a forest! :)
Each week I try to make sure we have some activities that practice our letters! I saw this from a fellow momma on Instagram, and thought it was perfect! Using a brown paper bag, I drew a bear and then I cut out little fish! On each fish I wrote a letter, and he fed the bear the fish! It was adorable to watch, and he loved this!
This we played with ALL week! A "Going on a Bear Hunt" inspired Invitation to Play!
Sorting by colors using bear counters!
Stomping and counting bear tracks!
Tracks stamping using sponges!
Anyone else have more Mega Blocks than they know what to do with?!? I got this awesome printable from 3Dinosaurs Forest Pack! He loved matching up the tops and bottoms of each animal!
He is in a phase where he loves to count EVERYTHING :) but he doesn't quite get 1:1 correspondence yet! I made this quick little activity to practice, and who doesn't love an activity involving FOOD!
