He is 19 months old.
We did some apple counting with raisins used as seeds!
For the first time, he actually wanted to do a lacing card!! He loves the 3 part puzzles from 1+1+1=1 A Tot School Pack!
Then we worked on matching apples to the tree! He knows he letters-- so we focus on reviewing them all and working on letter sounds.
10 Apples Up On Top! What a cute book!!! I printed out apple clip art numbered 1-5, and taped them onto our wood blocks! I also put a picture of H on one of the blocks! He practiced stacking the blocks and counting to 5!
I wish I had this pictured better, but we also did sticker counting to 10 on a picture of H!
Baked cotton balls!! This was the first time I have allowed H to 'cook' with me, and it was a total success! Flour, water, and some food coloring to make these cotton balls red like apples!
Bake them in the oven and they form a hard exterior! He had fun smashing them and then pulling out the cotton ball interior!
We also used the baked cotton balls on a contact paper tree. He went apple picking!
